Baseball

I am currently in the midst of
coaching my two sons' baseball teams. As a result, I
am constantly encountering problems and figuring out how to deal
with them. In the hope of helping people, and keeping them from
having to reinvent the wheel, I am trying to document everything
that I have learned.
PITCHING
I have put together a number of
essays that
touch on my philosophy and approach to pitching and proper
pitching mechanics...
I am also in the middle of a
project that is designed to identify pitching mechanics that
increase, or more importantly decrease, the likelihood that a
pitcher will injure themselves...
As an offshoot of my Pitcher
Injury Analysis Project, I have started evaluating the pitching
mechanics and motions of pitchers, looking for the root
causes of injury, velocity, and/or control problems as well as warning
signs of potential problems....
I have collected a lot of
information about a number of specific pitchers like Greg
Maddux, Roy Oswalt, and Anthony Reyes, and I have put together a
few pages that combine all of that information...
The person who convinced me that
there may be a connection between pitching mechanics and injuries
is Dr. Mike Marshall. Because people sometimes have a problem
understanding exactly what he is talking about, I have put
together a set of documents to acquaint people with his ideas...
Finally, I have started to put together a
number of documents that I use to troubleshoot the problems that
my players are experiencing...
HITTING
I have also put together
a number of essays that describe my approach to hitting (which involves
Rotational Hitting mechanics...
