...is how many Catholic priests, bishops, journalists, and laypeople have blocked me on Twitter.

I understand the sentiment.

But ignoring the problem won't make it go away.

Much less fix it.

Rather, it will only make things worse.

People may think they are PROTECTING the church but, instead, what they are doing is ENABLING it.
