Veterans Appreciation Program

One things I do as part of maintaining my web site is I look at where people are tuning in from.

While most of my hits are from the States, several times a day I will get a hit from somewhere else in the world. I've come to realize that these are military parents, stationed or deployed somewhere around the world, looking for information in order to help their kids.

Their bodies are overseas, but their hearts and heads are with their kids.

For a while now, I've been thinking about doing something for veterans, and especially Gold Star and Wounded Warrior families. What I'd like to do is give every veteran free access to Hitting & Pitching Basics, my introductory hitting, throwing, pitching, and coaching information.

To families who have given the most, I want to give them free access to all of my information (at least). And more, if I can figure out how.

I'd also be willing to travel to military posts to give free presentations.

I'm still trying to figure out exactly how to implement this, and I would appreciate it if you would e-mail me with any ideas. In the meantime, I have set up a username and password that veterans can use to access my site.

This username and password is only for the use of active duty military, veterans, and their families.

Please be aware that this will likely change as I get a sense of the level of interest in this program. For instance, while I'm glad to give my information away for free, I have to see how much load this places on my servers.
